About Me

Hi, I’m Taha Qureshi, and I design products by bridging engineering logic with real human needs.

My journey began in mechanical engineering, where I built a strong foundation in how things work, how they are made, and why details matter. Over time, this evolved into a passion for product design, taking ideas from early concepts through detailed CAD, prototyping, and manufacturing-ready solutions. I hold a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Hons.) from Aalto University, Finland, specializing in Product Development, Sustainability, and Additive Manufacturing, and I currently work as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Surfelle Oy, developing mechanical systems for a robot.

Across industrial, consumer, and research projects, I focus on designing products that are functional, reliable, and practical to manufacture, always balancing performance, usability, and production constraints. I enjoy working on meaningful problems, collaborating across disciplines, and turning complex requirements into clear, well-engineered products.

Work Experience

Mechanical Design Engineer — Surfelle Oy (Finland)

Design and development of mechanical parts and assemblies for automated robotic systems, delivering manufacturing-ready CAD, drawings, and BOMs, with hands-on prototyping and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
